SUPER STREET RULES
ADMENDMENT FOR SUPER STREET RULES JULY 18, 2001
Super Street Rules Modification for Remainder of 2001 Only
1. No jack screws anywhere, front or rear
2. No heim joints upper or lower front or rear of rear control arms top or bottom that are adjustable.
3. Spring buckets allowed on rear in stock position
4. Shim in buckets allowed
5. Front springs must be in stock position with no shims allowed (on right or left side)
6. Upper arms in rear may be 2 ½ inches above stock location on rear end housing

1. 10" steel wheels
2. 10" D.O.T. racing tires
MD 55 American Racing tires (McCreary) measuring 10.5 inches wide MAX
3. 1" lug nut required
Body and Frame
1.1960 models and up cars
2. Minimum wheel base 104 1/2"
3. Full Frame or Uni-body cars are ok
4. May hull car
5. Sup Frames Connectors optional
6. Must have stock front firewall and floor pan
7. May cut floor pan behind seat
8. Enclosed cockpit is permitted
9. Fuel cell must be in trunk
10. Must have firewall between fuel cell and driver
11. Stock type bumpers must be bolted on
12. No fabricated cars
13. Must weigh min. 3200 lbs. (car and driver)
14. 8" spoiler max
15. No jack screws
16. Shocks in stock position
FUEL SYSTEM AND FIRING
1. 750 Single or dual line single pumper
2. Aluminum intake allowed (1" adapter max)
3. Any distributor (no mags)
4. Manual Fuel pump only (no electric)
5. Gas only (no alcohol)
ENGINE
1. Heads must be stock cast iron only. 2.02, 1.60 Valve size limit.
2. No after market heads allowed
3. No porting or polishing
4. Stock Rods no after market
5. Stock crank no after market (must have numbers)
6. No stroking or destroking
7. No lightening or knifing of crank
8. All casting must be on crank and heads
9. Hydraulic or solid cam. No roller cams
10. Roller rocker arms are ok
11. Cubic Inch:
Chevy 350 .060 bore .010 for wear.
Ford 351 .060 bore .010 for wear.
Dodge 360 .060 bore .010 for wear
12. Angle cutting or decking of block optional
13. No 180 degree headers allowed
14. No turn downs allowed
15. Flat top, 2 or 4 eyebrow pistons.
TRANSMISSION AND REAR END
1. Straight shift or auto (must have all gears)
2. Auto must have stock converter
3. Clutch must be stock type
4. 10 1/2 clutch min
5. No racing clutch
6. stock rear-end auto production
7. no quick change
8. 9" Ford o.k. with or without Disc brakes in any car
9. Must run blow-proof bell housing or scatter shield
10. When running 9 ford in chevrolet, etc, you must run stock mounts in stock position. (Mounts
may be modified but not adjustable.)
NO RADIOS OR MIRRORS ALLOWED.
