Protest Procedure
$200.00 Suspension protest front and rear
$50.00 Tire width or wheelbase
$200.00 Pulls head checks bore stroke valve lift valve size complete head for porting
complete intake piston lifter dial carb
PLUS
ADD $150.00 Pulls rod piston checks crank for knife edging rod length type piston.
$200.00 PLUS $150.00 = $350.00 - Pulls head, check bore, stroke, valve lift, valve size, complete head for porting, complete intake, piston, lifter, dial carb, pull piston, pull rod and check crank for knife edging, rod length and type piston.
$50.00 Checks clutch flywheel
THE DRIVER OF CAR BEING PROTESTED IS RESPONSIBLE FOR TEARING HIS OWN CAR DOWN.
IT IS NOT THE RESPONSIBILTY OF THE TRACK OR ITS OFFICIALS TO TEAR AN ENGINE DOWN.
Protests must be in writing within 10 minutes after checkered flag flies in main event and handed to the tech man with the cash money. Driver and one crewmember allowed in tear down area. 4 track officials are allowed also. Protested driver can counter protest within 10 minutes after he finds out he has been protested.
The track will no longer check the vacuum on the Street Stock (Super Hogg) class. You can protest the cam lift. (see the Street Stock Rules).
